Computerbased business simulation as a tool for testing entrepreneurs
(EVa Empirie)
- Objectives and Description
EVa is a computerbased business simulation which creates an entrepreneurial
environment demanding to understand the complexity and the interdependencies
of the entrepreneurial task. Some 3.200 persons have participated in
EVa. Data of all decisions made by the participants as well as the status
of the simulation in all stages of the simulation is filled into a database.
Additionally four different questionnaires are filled in by the participants
and observations by the game instructor are reported. This database
is intended to be used for the development of a test of the ability
of future entrepreneurs to handle complexity.
